ABS is located in the research building at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.
The laboratory is accredited (No. 15207) by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) for Chemical Testing (ISO/IEC 17025:2005).
State-of-the-Art Analytical Instrumentation
ABS has state-of-the-art analytical instrumentation including HPLC or UPLC systems with PDA detectors or coupled to tandem mass spectrometers.
Isocratic and gradient analysis
Column switching
96-well compatible
The laboratory also has a sophisticated on-line sample extraction system (Symbosis) that is coupled to a top of the range mass spectrometer (Quattro Premier) fitted with either electrospray or atmospheric pressure chemical ionization ion sources.
The technologically advanced range of equipment provides the capability of sensitive and specific measurement of compounds with minimal sample preparation and the ability to measure low ng/ml concentrations in-vivo .
